This week’s Issue | 14/03/2016 Many organizations start their Lean journey with a focus on 5S or workplace organization which in many instances becomes an exercise of housekeeping.  The primary focus of any 5S effort is to increase product or process velocity so if you do a 5S effort and cannot quantify the investment of time and effort that it will improve product or process velocity then you are likely doing the wrong thing.
